In May 2021, MF Jebsen International Limited, the exclusive designated dealer of Aston Martin sports cars in Hong Kong & Macau, donated the Special Aston Martin Vantage Heritage Racing Edition in support of the local wildlife and environment. The Gulf Blue Edition Vantage was open for public auction, supervised by international auction house Bonhams and was on display in the iconic lobby of The Peninsula Hong Kong

The auction received overwhelming responses from philanthropists, wildlife supporters and car lovers worldwide. Held online from 7th May to 5th June by Bonhams, after rounds of bidding, the Aston Martin Gulf Blue Edition Vantage was successfully sold for HK$1.2 million (excl. tax) to a gentleman, Mr. Jonathan Smith, in the UK.

Half of the proceeds will fund projects for the protection of endangered species and the restoration of the local ecosystem by supporting a range of programmes run by Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG). The other half will be donated to World Land Trust selected by Mr. Smith, an international conservation charity that protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened habitats.
